The Science Club of the School of Allied Health Sciences celebrated National Science Day on 24.03.2025. The celebration was graced by the distinguished Chief Guest,
Dr. V. Sukumaran, from Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science and Technology, who shared his profound insights into the evolving world of science and healthcare.
Dr. Sukumaran’s keynote address focused on Exploring Future Opportunities in Health Science Careers, inspiring students to embrace innovation, interdisciplinary learning, and research driven approaches to address modern healthcare challenges. His talk encouraged young minds to think beyond conventional roles in health sciences and to explore emerging fields that integrate technology, research, and patient-centered care.
Adding to the festive spirit of National Science Day, students showcased their creativity and scientific curiosity through a variety of activities. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks appreciating Dr. Sukumaran’s insightful session and reaffirming the commitment to nurturing innovation and scientific temper among its students.
