Training & Placement Cell

Training and Placement Cell specializes in helping students to develop their skills and it functions to ensure the best placements for the students graduating from Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University.

Placement Cell has a perfect understanding of how the corporate world works and this helps in organizing events and programs that provide avenues to the students to get exposed to the real world of work.

Placement Cell provides assistance to students and ability to think out of the box as it conducts Webinars, Seminars, Workshops, Personality Development Program, and Guest Lecturers etc. at regular intervals so that the students get ample opportunities to closely interact with professionals from different industries they will be heading out into the professional world with a lot more awareness and preparation.

Placement Cell also arranges In-house Training,Internships and In-plant training with corporate organizations to help students know about the industry they are getting into. That will be helpful in polishing their skills before they start their actual careers.

Department of Training and Placement emphasises in inculcating both attitude and aptitude in students .All the students are trained on Basic English, Quantitative Aptitude, Soft skills and Technical skills right from 2nd Year level. Higher Education Cell

Centre for higher education at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University is formed exclusively for motivating, counselling and guiding the pre-final and final year students students to pursue higher studies.

The centre aims at providing systematic and methodical guidance on the various competitive examinations after B.Tech degrees which facilitates them to pursue Masters' degree like M. Tech , M.E from India, M.S from abroad, M.B.A from India and abroad and Ph.D.

Those considering careers in higher education or its related fields will be guided to facilitate their admissions in Prestigious Institutes to pursue higher studies. The Cell also prepare students for a lifelong commitment to learning.

Career Guidance Cell

Career and Counseling Cell at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University has been formulated to bridge the gap between the student's skills and the industry's expectations. Counseling thus addresses both academic and career and other opportunities.

Our purpose is to assist students in selecting appropriate career based on their skills and interests. We work closely with our students to uncover their Passions, Strengths, and Interests and assist them in choosing the best career pathways.

INTERNSHIP - INDIAN COUNCIL OF AGRICULTURE RESEARCH - BANANA RESEARCH CENTER, TRICHY.

HRDC of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University Provided internship for the students of III Year Agriculture Engineering. A batch of 10 students had undergone for Research activities and they were able to understand their proficiency on Food Processing Technology, Soil Testing etc.,

HRDC of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University Provided internship for the students of III Year ECE . A batch of 2 students had undergone Training in Telecom center (Department of Telecommunication.,NLC).

INTERNSHIP - INDUSTRIAL RUBBER COMPANY MBA -(First Batch)

The students of Final year MBA had undergone for internship at Industrial Rubber Company (IRC) at Trichy. The students gained experience on voice processing, data compilation, HR and financial management. Every day they are learning the art of data extracting and other working responsibilities in this organization.

Three of our III year students from Information Technology went for 15-day internship at V Dart Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Trichy. These students were playing the role of internal IT support. They were working on the platform named "Tableau" where these students keen on extracting the data of the employees, business and so on.

INTERNSHIP - VDART - MBA

Our Final Year MBA students had undergone for an internship at V Dart Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Trichy for 15 days. The students were divided into teams as Junior Recruiter, HR and Recruitment Crew for conducting on and off campus drives. The students prepared the check list for the every positions and they figured out the ideas on eligibility criteria with different parameters. The other team which is working on the role of a HR identifies the importance of HR in a recruitment a new employees to the organization. They understand about human resources business partner, or HRBP, is an HR professional who can handle everything from hiring and benefits to compliance and employee relations.

Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) provided two months internship with stipend for Two students from III year Engineering a at Cyber Vault, Coimbatore Branch (Singapore Based Company). The students are from III year IT and Cyber Security. The internship is about implementation of Artificial Intelligence, Python and Cyber Security in live projects.

Our Human Resource Development Centre has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Morais City International Business Park, Tiruchirappalli on 16-05-2024 at DSU Campus.

 

MoU with National Research Centre for Banana

The department of HRDC has signed MoU with 1. ICAR - National Research Centre for Banana (ICAR - NRCB) Central Institute 29th October 2024 with the objective of bridging the gap between the institute and the academia for the students particularly in the area of Research, Internship and knowledge sharing by the scientist of NRCB.

2. We had MoU with The GTT Foundation, Pune who provide access to employability enhancement related activities through blended learning model.

3. We had MoU with the founder of Inlustro, to explore opportunities on Centre of Excellence, Value Added programs, Impact internship program, FDP, Research and Industry Consultation for the students community.

The department of HRDC has signed MoU with Three of the Companies 28th October 2024 with the object of enabling the student community to access resources in enhancing their employability. The details of the companies are as under:

Vdart Group,USA

A Memorandum of Understanding was established between Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University (DSU) and VDart Technologies (P) Ltd. (VDart Group), located in Alpharetta, GA (USA), on 7th February 2025. The MoU aims to facilitate Skill-based internship/training, Student Placements, and Mentoring support for automation-related incubation activities. Through this partnership, VDart will deliver skill development programs to train students on emerging technologies to bridge the skill gap and will provide internship opportunities, typically lasting 5–12 weeks. The agreement explicitly states that DSU holds no financial commitment regarding any program mentioned. Both parties are acting as independent contractors. This collaboration strengthens DSU’s commitment to providing technical training and enhancing student career outcomes through industry-relevant projects.

 

ZF Rane Automotive India Limited,Chennai

A Memorandum of Understanding was established between Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University (DSU) and ZF Rane Automotive India Limited & ZF Rane Occupant Safety Systems Pvt. Ltd., located in Chennai/Trichy, on 07th February 2025. The MoU aims to facilitate Industrial Training / Internship and placement for students as on job training, aligning with AICTE internship policy. Through this partnership, the Second Party will provide the opportunity for Budding Engineering/Arts students to undergo training for a period of 3/6 months on a rational basis year on year. The Second Party will also register itself on the AICTE Internship policy portal for disseminating opportunities. The term of the agreement is 3 years. This collaboration strengthens DSU’s commitment to ensuring effective utilization of faculty capabilities and enhancing student skills and knowledge in the automotive industry.

 

Career Craft Academy-HCL Technologies –Pondichery

A Memorandum of Understanding was established between Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University (DSU) and Career Craft Academy (CCA), the Official Delivery Partner of HCL Tech Career Shaper, located in Puducherry, on 7th Day of March 2025. The MoU’s purpose is to foster collaboration to enhance student skill sets and knowledge through specialized training programs, workshops, and educational initiatives. CCA offers a free 10-hour online Career Development program. Key paid programs include the Value Added Program, Internship Program, and an Integrated Program (2nd to 7th Semester), which will be a Minor degree program powered by HCL Tech Career Shaper. The initial validity of the MoU is Three Year. This collaboration strengthens DSU’s commitment by leveraging CCA’s resources to deliver high-quality, cutting-edge courses designed to meet today's dynamic industry demands.

Human Resource Development Center organised a spacial Talk on "EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE IN WORKPLACE" for the Engineering Students of Second and Third year. The Resource person highlighted the importance of Team work and Communication in a working Environment.

Exploring the Techniques to Crack Government Examinations

Our Human Resource Development Centre of DSU organized a programme on Exploring the Techniques to Crack Government Examinations for the 205 students of First Year School of Engineering and Technology in the branches of Mechanical, EEE, ECE & Agricultural Engineering on 05-09-2024 at Seminar Hall, SET Block from 11.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Mr. Ramesh Kumar Trainer, Government Examinations Lead and Mrs. Shantha Sheela, Branch Manager from Veranda Race Learning Solutions acted as Resource Persons for the programme.He elucidated the eligibility criteria for the various examinations like Banking, TNPSC, SSC, RRB, and UPSC. He opened an interaction with the students about the positions and vacancies available in the government sectors. He also stated that to accomplish these examinations required constant preparation in the following subjects such as Quantitative Aptitude, General English, Logical Reasoning, Banking Awareness, Political Science and General Knowledge.
