About us
The Grievance Redressal cell aims to look into the complaints lodged by students and staffs of the university and redress it as per requirement. On receipt of the grievance the Grievance Redressal Cell scrutinizes, analyzes and discusses the grievance with the concerned person to find out amicable solutions without affecting the interests of both the parties within the
stipulated time. University aims at solving academic and non- academic grievances of students and staff within the campus through online and grievance box.
Functions
- To maintain a fair, unbiased and consistent system for redressal of various issues faced by the students and staff.
- To ensure strict confidentiality so that students and staff approach the Grievance Redressal Cell without the fear of any vindictive activity.
- To ascertain that immediate suitable actions are taken by addressing the faculty or by requesting the management depending upon the nature of grievance.
Grievance Redressal Mechanism
- Grievance Redressal committee (GRC) shall consider only individual grievances of specific nature of students and staff.
- The GRC shall not consider any grievance of general applicability or of collective nature of raised collectively by more than one employee/student.
- Post receipt of the complaint/application the committee will decide on the merit of case regarding scope of further discussion investigation and act promptly.
- The GRC may mediate between complainant and defendant against who the
complaint has been made, if required.
- GRC shall consider redressing of grievances within a reasonable time.
- The cell will give report to the authority about the cases attended to and seek guidance from the higher authorities if required.
Procedure for lodging complaint
- The student or staff can lodge their grievance through online mechanism or they can drop their grievance in writing in the grievance or suggestion box.
- The Grievance cell will act upon those cases which have been forwarded along with the necessary documents.
