To support the research team and faculty members of DSU, academic and industrial partnership is important for DSU. Memorandum of Understanding is one of the key aspects through which the partnership between the institutions legally bound, for mutual benefits.

DSU signed MoU with Industrial partners to enrich the knowledge of students in line with the requirements of industry and to make the students ready for employment. The companies/Industries with which DSU signed MoU are as follows:

• IBM - IBM Career Education Programme for B. Tech (Joint Certificate Programme in Computer Science and Engineering with Specialization in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science and Cyber Security).
• PMC Global Systems Private Limited Chennai - An IOT based company for technology and knowledge transfer.
• Dlithe Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd, Bengaluru - For Value Added extra curricular activities to explore in artificial intelligence.
• Plasmaart Resto Pvt. Ltd. Trichy - To explore research in the areas of cell/gene therapy and tissue regeneration.
• PMCGS Private Limited Chennai - To explore various activities for faculty members and students of DSU to benefit in IOT based knowledge transfer.

DSU has also signed MoU with Academic Institutions at national and international levels.

• National Institute of Technology Trichy - For Skill Development and Training in association with Centre of Excellence in Manufacturing, NIT, Trichy.
• Kadiri University, Indonesia - To encourage inter disciplinary research, students and faculty exchange, dual degree programme, internships and skill development trainings for students as well as for the faculties.
