On 18th August 2025, the School of Pharmacy successfully organized an Anti-Ragging Quiz Competition, an initiative aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment. The event was conceptualized, organized, and conducted entirely by our pharmacy students, reflecting their leadership, teamwork, and commitment towards promoting a ragging-free academic atmosphere.
The quiz covered a wide range of topics, including legal provisions against ragging, institutional policies, ethical behaviour, student rights and responsibilities, and ways to build a healthy peer-to-peer relationship. The competition not only tested the knowledge of participants but also served as an engaging platform to sensitize students on the serious consequences of ragging.
Students from various batches enthusiastically participated, showcasing both awareness and competitive spirit. Faculty members appreciated the initiative, acknowledging the efforts of the student organizers for their creativity and responsibility in handling such a significant subject.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates to the winners and participants. The Anti-Ragging Quiz proved to be a meaningful step towards strengthening the institution’s mission of ensuring a safe, supportive, and respectful learning environment for all students.
