INTERNATIONAL DAY OF RADIOLOGY (IDOR 2K24)
The programme commenced with the master of ceremonies by the Students Jeevitha, Jothiga and Saafeeha Afreen under the guidance of Ms. Ranjitha Assistant professor uplifting notes “TAMIL THAI VALZTHU”, followed by lamp lighting by the dignitaries and chief guest.
Under the guidance of Vice Chancellor Dr. C. K. Ranjan, Registrar Dr. Dhanasekaran Devaraj and the presence of esteemed dignitaries further elevated the event Dr. K. Rekha Associate Dean, School of Allied Health Science who lent their support and time and reinforced the university’s commitment to academic excellence and innovation. The event drew a diverse audience-comprising faculty and students from the School of Allied Health Sciences. Mrs. Annie Portia Assistant professor welcomed the gathering present.Next to that, III-year student Jeevitha invited the chief guest to give a lecture. our chief guest, Dr. Tamijiselvam M.Sc. Radiation Physics, PhD Radiography Assistant professor started his guest lecture on the topic of "Fusion Imaging- Principle and applications ". Students of Radiography and imaging technology gained knowledge about current practice in PET-CT and PET-MRI. His lecture helped the attendees to understand the Fusion imaging.
Dr. K. Rekha, Associate Dean, School of Allied Health Sciences felicitated our chief guest, Dr. Tamijiselvam M.Sc. Radiation Physics, PhD Radiology Assistant professor in radiography in Mother Teresa PG and Research Institute of health science – Pondicherry.
The students of II Year Radiography and imaging technology performed a fabulous Radiography Song.
