International Nurses day was celebrated in DSU by College of Nursing and Nurses of Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital Samayapuram on 12.05.2023 in a grand manner in remembrance of pioneer of Nursing Ms. Florence Nightingale’s birth day.
International Nurses day was celebrated at 3 pm in Lecture Hall I on 12.05.2023. The Nursing students and the staff Nurses of SMCH have participated in the celebration.
Programme started with prayer song followed by lighting kuthuvilakku. Prof A Pechiammal welcomed the gathering. then our Vice chancellor Air marshal Dr C. K. Ranjan VSM, AV (Retd) delivered presidential address, Dr. M. Ravichandran Registrar DSU, Dr V. Sekar P & D DSU, Dr Thamilarasi M D, Dean I/C SMCH delivered felicitation. Then Mrs.M.Narkis, Nursing Superintendent, SMCH gave a vote of thanks.
