Workshop on "Innovate by Design: UI/UX and Entrepreneurial Thinking"
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, under the Research and Innovation Club, School of Engineering and Technology, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, successfully organized a one-day workshop on "Innovate by Design: UI/UX and Entrepreneurial Thinking" on 21 July 2026 (Tuesday) from 10.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. at the Seminar Hall, SET Block (2nd Floor). The workshop was led by Mrs. M. Mohanadeepa, Founder and CEO, Hanatorio – Design Studio & Hanatorio Academy, Coimbatore, who served as the resource person. She delivered insightful sessions on UI/UX design principles, design thinking, user-centered innovation, prototyping, creativity, and entrepreneurial mindset. Through interactive demonstrations and practical activities, participants gained valuable exposure to transforming innovative ideas into impactful digital solutions.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from Associate Deans, Heads of Departments, faculty members, and students, fostering innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills among the participants. The programme provided an excellent platform for aspiring innovators to understand the significance of design thinking and entrepreneurship in today's technology-driven world.
The event concluded with an interactive discussion and a vote of thanks, encouraging participants to apply the acquired knowledge in developing innovative and user-centric solutions.
