Guest Lecture on Advanced Telecommunication Systems Successfully Conducted
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, successfully organized a Guest Lecture on "Advanced Telecommunication Systems" on 17 July 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Room No. 508, SET Block.
The session was delivered by Mr. V. Sekar, Junior Telecom Officer, National Internet Backbone-II, BSNL, Karaikudi, who shared valuable insights into the latest advancements in telecommunication technologies, modern communication networks, fiber optic infrastructure, 5G evolution, and future industry trends.
The lecture provided students with practical exposure to real-world telecommunication systems, bridging the gap between academic learning and industry practices. Participants actively engaged in the interactive session, gaining a deeper understanding of emerging communication technologies and career opportunities in the telecom sector.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Sasikumar Gurumoorthy, Dean (i/c), School of Engineering and Technology, with the support of the faculty members of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
The programme concluded with an engaging interaction between the resource person and students, inspiring them to explore innovations in the field of telecommunications and networking.
