WORLD CANCER DAY-13TH FEBRUARY 2026

On the occasion of World Cancer Day, IV Year B.Sc. Nursing students of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University College of Nursing conducted a Cancer Awareness Programme on 13th February 2026 at Pudhur Uthamanur. A total of 96 students, guided by Mrs. Abinaya S and Mrs. Shruthi A, educated around 50 community members on common cancers, risk factors, warning signs, and early detection. A role plays emphasized tobacco hazards, prevention, and healthy lifestyle practices. The programme was successful in creating awareness and enhancing students’ learning experience.
