The College of Nursing, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, observed World Health Day on 8th April 2025 at the Primary Health Centre, Pudhur Uthamanur, under the theme "Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures." Around 100 antenatal mothers attending the antenatal clinic benefited from the awareness programme. Nursing students conducted health education sessions, Villupattu (folk awareness performance), and a nutritional demonstration to promote maternal and child health. The programme emphasized the importance of proper nutrition, antenatal care, and healthy lifestyle practices. The event successfully enhanced health awareness and encouraged positive health-seeking behaviour among the participants.
