The Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC), Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Tiruchirappalli, successfully organized an insightful guest lecture titled “Digital Diagnosis: Decoding AI for Tomorrow’s Healers” on 16 July 2026 at 10:30 a.m. in Lecture Hall–1, Academic Block. The programme was conducted in collaboration with Open Holistic AI Solutions Private Limited with the objective of introducing healthcare students to the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern medicine and allied health sciences.
The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Arjun Reddy, Founder and CEO of Open Holistic AI Solutions (OHM). He presented an engaging session on the growing applications of AI in healthcare, including digital diagnostics, clinical decision support, medical imaging, predictive analytics, and personalized patient care. Through practical examples and real-world case studies, he emphasized the importance of embracing digital technologies while maintaining ethical standards and patient-centered care.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of the School of Allied Health Sciences, particularly from the Departments of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics (CND), Optometry, Critical Care Technology (CCT), Neuro Electrophysiology (NEP), and Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT). The interactive session encouraged students to explore emerging career opportunities in AI-driven healthcare and highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary learning in the evolving medical landscape. The event concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, where students actively interacted with the speaker, making the programme an enriching and inspiring learning experience for all participants.
