Industry visit on 18.2.2026 and 19.2.2026
The II D.Pharm students of the School of Pharmacy organized an industrial visit to Kerala State Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Ltd. as part of their academic curriculum to gain practical exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing and industrial operations.
A total of 38 students, accompanied by 2 faculty members, participated in the visit. During the industrial visit, the students observed various departments involved in the manufacturing, quality control, packaging, and storage of pharmaceutical products. The officials of the company explained the different stages of drug production, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality assurance procedures, and safety measures followed in the industry.
National Conference Participation – Clinical Trials 2030: The Next Era
A National Conference on “Clinical Trials 2030: The Next Era” was conducted by Vinayaka Missions Research Foundation on 21st February 2026. Faculty members and students from the School of Pharmacy, DSU, attended the conference. The event provided valuable insights into emerging trends, innovations, and future perspectives in clinical trials. One of our students also presented a paper at the conference, showcasing research work and actively participating in scientific discussions. The conference offered an excellent platform for academic learning, knowledge sharing, and interaction with experts in the field of clinical research.
