The School of Pharmacy, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, actively participated in the 76th Republic Day Celebration held on 26th January 2026. The occasion was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit, reflecting the unity and diversity of the nation.
The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Faculty members and students of the School of Pharmacy participated in the program and paid tribute to the Constitution of India and the freedom fighters who contributed to the nation’s independence and democratic foundation.
As part of the celebrations, students took part in various cultural activities such as patriotic songs, speeches, and skits highlighting the values of democracy, equality, and social responsibility. The program aimed to instill a sense of national pride and civic duty among the students. Overall, the Republic Day Celebration 2026 was a grand success, fostering patriotic feelings and reinforcing the importance of constitutional values among the academic community of the School of Pharmacy.
