The School of Pharmacy organized a community outreach programme on “Drug Abuse Awareness” through a mime performance by I B. Pharm students as part of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Camp at Thiruvellarai Village on 12th November 2025. The programme aimed to educate the rural community about the harmful effects of drug abuse and promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. Through expressive gestures and visual storytelling, the students effectively conveyed the social and health consequences of substance abuse. The programme was successfully organized and coordinated by Mrs. V. Kavitha, faculty member, School of Pharmacy. The performance received positive feedback from the villagers, highlighting the students impactful delivery of an important social message.
