“Bridging Industry, Policy & Environment through Research-led, Market-ready Sustainable Agriculture Solutions

The Department of Agricultural Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, organized a guest lecture on “Bridging Industry, Policy & Environment through Research-led, Market-ready Sustainable Agriculture Solutions” on 27th September 2025 at Room No. 402, SET Block.
The program commenced with a welcome address by the Head of the Department of Agricultural Engineering, who highlighted the importance of integrating research, industry practices, and policy frameworks to achieve sustainability in agriculture.
The invited resource person, Ms. Pavatharrini Palpandi, Sustainability & Business Analyst, Vishnu Prasad Research Center, delivered an insightful lecture on research-driven innovations for sustainable agriculture. She emphasized the role of collaboration between industry, policy, and environmental research in developing practical and market-ready solutions for farmers.
The lecture was followed by an interactive session, during which faculty members and students actively engaged in discussions, gaining valuable insights into sustainable practices and future prospects in agricultural research.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. S. Tamil Priyan, Assistant Professor, who expressed gratitude to the university management for their support, to the higher officials of School of Engineering and Technology, for their guidance, and to the resource person for sharing her expertise with the participants.
