The Three-Day Workshop on “Harnessing Modern Web Technologies: Progressive Web Apps, Security and AI”, organized by the Department of MCA and Tech Explorers Club, commenced on 18th September 2025 with an Inaugural Session highlighting the objectives and significance of the program.
The workshop was inaugurated and felicitated by Dr. G. Sasikumar, Associate Dean, School of Engineering and Technology. *Mr. Sreekarrthikeyan Mahadevan, CEO & Founder of Tech Vaseegrah, addressed the gathering and provided a brief overview of the workshop’s agenda.
Session 1 focused on Modern Web Architecture & Progressive Web Apps, emphasizing the role of service workers, web manifests, and offline capabilities in creating robust web applications.
Session 2 featured a hands-on demonstration on Building a Progressive Web App, where participants were guided step-by-step through the development process.
The sessions enabled participants to design and test their own PWAs, offering them valuable theoretical insights and practical exposure.
The first day concluded successfully, laying a strong foundation for exploring advanced topics in security and AI in the subsequent sessions.
