Recent Advanced Materials for Energy Harvesting and Storage 28.07.25
Department of Physics, School of Engineering and Technology, have successfully conducted the Five days Online FDP on “Recent Advanced Materials for Energy Harvesting and Storage”.
We extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to our management and all the higher officials for granting permission and financial support to organize this event.
We express our heartfelt thanks to Dr. V. Sekar, Dean-SET, Dr. A. Sirajunnisa, Associate Dean-SET, Dr. S. Rafi Ahamed, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Physics for their unwavering support, encouragement, and strategic guidance in shaping this event.
The Five days Online FDP programme was conducted from 28.07.2025 to 01.08.2025 in google meet platform from 6.00 p.m to 7.30 p.m with nearly 120 participants from 45 different institutions. This programme focused on the recent developments on the materials used in the energy harvesting through different modes (photoelectric, thermoelectroic, triboelectric) and in different energy storage devices (lithium ion batteries, solar cells and supercapacitors). The lectures were delivered by four academicians from different institutes within Tamilnadu and one industrial research scientist from South Korea. The participants have actively interacted with the resource persons and made this programme vibrant.
