Building the Future – Impact of the AI Era

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organized an insightful seminar titled “Building the Future – Impact of the AI Era” on August 1, 2025, at Lecture Hall II, Academic Block.

The seminar featured Mr. Sathish Kumar A, Technical Director at SAP Pioneer, Bangalore, as the Resource Person, who shared his extensive expertise on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its transformative role in shaping the future across industries. His address offered students and faculty a deeper understanding of AI’s evolving impact on the global landscape.

The event was held under the patronage of Shri A. Srinivasan, Hon’ble Chancellor, and Smt. Ananthalakshmi Kathiravan, Pro Chancellor. Dr. V. Sekar, Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology, served as the Program Advisor, with Dr. G. Sasikumar, Associate Dean/SET, acting as the Convenor.

Dr. J. Mercy Geraldine, Head of the Department of CSE, was the Organizer, and the event coordination was efficiently managed by Mr. N. Vinothkumar and Mrs. R. Rajavaishnavi, Assistant Professors in the CSE Department.

The seminar successfully sparked curiosity and engagement among participants, aligning with the university’s commitment to promoting innovation and technical excellence in the era of Artificial Intelligence.
