The School of Pharmacy organized a National Seminar on “Bridging Nature and Science: Advancements in Cancer Cure and Drug Discovery” on 7th August 2025, bringing together experts, researchers, faculty, and students to discuss innovative approaches in cancer treatment and pharmaceutical research.
The seminar featured eminent resource persons:
Prof. Dr. A. K. Gnanachandran, Professor and Principal, Pranav Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Research, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
Dr. T. Siva Vijayakumar, Associate Dean-Research and Head, Centre for Research, Department of Biotechnology, School of Engineering and Technology, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Trichy.
Both speakers delivered insightful lectures focusing on the integration of natural products with modern scientific advancements in cancer cure and drug discovery. Their sessions emphasized novel drug targets, innovative therapeutic strategies, and the vital role of interdisciplinary research in developing effective treatments for cancer.
