NSS - Campus Cleaning Activity III - 19th June 2024
NSS Unit of School of Engineering and Technology has organized a campus cleaning activity on 19th June 2024 from 3.30 pm to 5.00 pm in the University premises. Dr T Siva Vijayakumar, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Biotechnology - SET, address the gathering and shared the roles and responsibilities of NSS volunteer among the students. Further he added that every student should be aware the cleanliness of the environment will lead a healthy society. All the Students of First year B. Tech. A7, A8 and A9 sections and third year NSS student volunteers were involved in the campus cleaning activities. During the activity, students actively participated in cleaning the campus by removing dry wastes like plastic wrappers, cups, water bottles and other disposables wastes in our DSU campus. All the wastage was collected in the garbage bag and handed over to maintenance in charge of DSU for safe disposal. The program was ended with a vote of thanks by Dr R Meganathan, NSS Coordinator - SET, Prof/ Mathematics.
