Drug Information Club - 26 June 2024
The School of Pharmacy, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University inaugurated a "DRUG INFORMATION CLUB" on emphasizing the “International Drug Abuse Day and Illicit Trafficking” on 26/06/2024. Dr. A. Thulasi, Dean SMCH invited as the chief guest and inaugurated the club. Dr. A. Pechiyammal, Dean, School of Nursing as guest and Dr. S. Akilandeswari Dean, School of Pharmacy honoured the guests. The event was organised and successfully completed by Mr. S. Sardar Khan and Mrs. R. Saratha, Assistant Professor, School of Pharmacy, DSU.
The event aimed to raise awareness about drug abuse and combat illicit trafficking through educational initiatives and research presentations. Speakers Dr. A. Thulasi, Dean SMCH and Dr. A. Pechiammal, Dean, School of Nursing delivered talks on the current trends in drug abuse, the impact on society, and effective prevention strategies.
