The conference has started by 9.00 A.M. with Tamil thai valzhthu. Dr. J Padma, Associate professor - SAS, delivered the welcome address followed by the lamp lighting ceremony.
Then the chief guest Dean, School of Agricultural sciences, Dr. M. Ravichandran delivered the inaugural address by emphasizing the importance of the next generation sustainable technologies in agriculture. Followed by the vote of thanks by Dr. V. P. Dinesh, Associate professor, SAS, DSU.
By 10.30 A.M., the special Lecture I was delivered by Dr. S. Karthigeyan, Professor (Microbiology), TNAU, Coimbatore. He highlighted the importance and real time application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet on things (IOT) in agricultural sciences, followed by the special lecture II delivered by Dr. P. Biji, Professor (Nano - technology), - PSGIAS, Coimbatore. She elaborated on nanotechnology enabled sensors in agriculture.
In post lunch session, the oral presentation followed by the poster presentation extended until 3.30 P.M. Participants were from outside institutes, DSU and the students of different institutions.
By 4.00 P.M. valedictory and prize distribution function was organized. Dr. M. Ravichandran Dean, School of Agricultural sciences addressed the gathering and distributed the certificates to prize winners. Finally, the vote of thanks had been given by Dr. V. P. Dinesh, Associate professor, SAS, DSU, followed by the national anthem.
