National Level Technical Symposium (TECHSET-2K23)

Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, School of Engineering and Technology organized the national level technical symposium ‘TECHSET-2K23’ on 07th February 2023 in Lecturer Hall-2, DSU. Every aspect of the event, from its inception to the execution had been the outcome of the culminated efforts of the faculty and students of the department.

The registration link for the symposium was opened on 24th January ‘2023 and registrations closed on 03rdFebruary ‘2023, in the duration of which an overwhelming response had been observed from 164 participants belonging to over 20 colleges from all over the state.

 The chief guest, Mr.Raghavendra Prasanna, Global Coordinator-All India Council for Robotics & Automation (AICRA) inaugurated the function with his inspirational speech quoting the need to promote robotics, automation and other recent trends in Artificial Intelligence. Also present at the inaugural function were the Registrar, Dr.M.Ravichandran, Dean, Planning and Development, Dr.V.Sekar, Dean/SET, Dr.Sanjay Singh and Associate Dean/SET, Dr.V.Raju.

 This symposium witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 164 students in over 4 events that tested their wits and abilities. The following are the events that were organized as part of the symposium: Paper Presentation, Technical Quiz, Connections & Short Film.

 During the valedictory function the Dean/SET Dr.Sanjay Singh distributed the cash prizes and certificates to winners. Dr.R.Ramkumar, Organizing secretary delivered  a report on the entire happenings of the day and also vote of thanks.
