Children’s Day Celebration –Report

          Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, School of Engineering and Technology celebrated Children’s Day Celebration on 14.11.2022 in the campus library at 10.30 am. The programme started with a prayer song. Ms. S. Roshinii, I year, B. Tech Bio-Medical Engineering student presented the welcome address. Dr. Sanjay Singh, Dean of Engineering and Technology delivered the key note address. In his speech, he pointed out the importance of children in the nation and to achieve their goal through hard work. He stated the importance of children’s day and achievements of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. He informed all the students to bring out their talent in various events. He also appreciated for the efforts taken by the organizer of the programme, Ms.R.Shobia, Associate Professor of English and students. Dr. M. Maniraj, Professor of Mechanical Department & Co-ordinator of the first year students insisted the students about the leadership qualities of Nehruji and his love towards children. The first and second year students exposed their talent in various events like speech, poetry, PPT, video presentation, song etc., Ms. M. Hemalatha, I year,  B. Tech CSE (Cyber Security) student gave the vote of thanks. Finally, the programme ended with the National anthem.
