Role of Communication in GDs and Interviews

The Department of English organized a workshop on “Role of Communication in GDs and Interviews” on 31.01.2025 at 10.00 am in the Seminar Hall, II Floor, SET Block, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Trichy. Dr. P. Prabu, Associate Dean welcomed the gathering. The resource person, Dr.Shankar Duraikannan, Dean/ SET honoured the chief guest and felicitated the gathering. Today’s resource person Dr. Dr.S.Venkatesh, Associate Professor, Department of English, The Madura College, Madurai, delivered a comprehensive and engaging address on the role of communication in GDs and interviews. He also emphasized the importance of pronunciation and fluency in spoken English. He encouraged participants to practice tongue twisters to improve their articulation and confidence. The workshop received awesomely positive feedback from participants, who appreciated the interactive and engaging approach. The workshop ensured that the students not only gained knowledge but also developed essential skills to enhance their employability skills.
