Sensitization on DSU - Students' Grievance Redressal Mechanism by Dr. N. Panchanatham, Ombudsperson, DSU

The Division of Students' Affairs of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University organized a sensitization program on DSU-Students' Grievance Redressal Mechanism by Dr. N. Panchanatham, Ombudsperson, DSU on 11th May 2024 in lecture theatre, III floor, Academic block, DSU at 2.30 pm. The session started with Tamil thai Vazthu. Dr. Pathma J, Associate Dean, Students' Affairs welcomed the gathering. The chief guest Dr. N. Panchanatham, Ombudsperson, DSU gave an energetic and enlightening lecture regarding what is grievance? Whom to approach to get the grievance sorted? the role of ombudsperson in solving the grievance and when to approach an ombudsperson. A total of 250 participants including the Students’ Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC) members and students of various schools of the university main campus and additional campus participated and benefitted from the event. Following the lecture, the participants were provided with an opportunity to interact with the ombudsperson and sort their queries in a question & answer session. The program ended with Vote of thanks by the student Ms. A. Nithya Shri, III B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, the special invitee of SGRC of School of Agricultural Sciences followed by National Anthem.
