Dr. K. Elangovan earned his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Government College of Engineering (GCE), Salem, in 1999. He went on to complete his postgraduate studies in Manufacturing Technology and his Ph.D in sheet metal forming from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli, in 2004 and 2011, respectively. With over twenty years of experience in teaching, research and academic administration, he has developed extensive expertise in his field. He has authored ten research articles in metal forming limit strains, modelling and statistical analysis in reputed international journals and authored four books in mechanical and civil engineering domain. Currently, he is supervising three research scholars and has successfully guided one candidate to completion.
