The Department of Pediatrics at Srinivasan Medical College marked the significant occasion of World Immunization Week (24th - 30th April 2024) with an enlightening and impactful program on 30th April 2024 with the theme “HUMANLY POSSIBLE: IMMUNIZATION FOR ALL”. Under the esteemed patronage of Dr. Thulasi, Dean of Srinivasan Medical College, the event commenced with great fervor and enthusiasm. Dr. Santanalakshmi, Senior Resident, Paediatrics delivered an insightful speech on pediatric immunization, shedding light on its importance and the role it plays in safeguarding children's health. Furthermore, Dr. Arun Kumar, Senior Resident, General Medicine provided valuable insights into adult immunization, emphasizing its crucial role in maintaining public health and preventing the spread of diseases. The program, meticulously organized and anchored by Dr. Shivaashankari, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, was a testament to the department's commitment to raising awareness about immunization. Taking place at the hospital reception, the event attracted a diverse audience, primarily comprising patients seeking medical care.
