DSU Trichy celebrated 75th Republic Day on - 26th January 2024
Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Trichy celebrated 75th Republic Day on 26th January, 2024, at 8:00 AM. The honourable Pro Chancellor, Smt. Ananthalakshmi Kathiravan presided and felicitated the event. The event was also graced by the presence of the Vice Chancellor, Dr. C.K Ranjan, Dean of Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital, Dr. A . Thulasi, and Dean of Pharmacy, Dr. Akilandeshwari.The ceremony commenced with the flag unfurling by the Pro Chancellor along with the National Anthem played by the university band, followed by the release of balloons symbolizing unity. Following which, the campus echoed with the soul-stirring notes of the Flag Song, adding an extra layer of patriotic fervour to the celebration. Subsequently, a parade marched through the campus, setting the patriotic tone. The Pro Chancellor delivered an inspiring speech, reflecting on the significance of the Republic Day. Her words added a youthful and vibrant dimension to the celebration. The cultural program showcased the nation's rich heritage, and the day concluded with a prize distribution ceremony by the Pro Chancellor, recognizing studen’s achievements.
