Trichy, Perambalur and Siruvachur are buzzing with excitement as the much-awaited Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University Bhoomi Puja Celebration for the hostel new entrants, which took place on October 28, 2023. The Esteemed Chancellor of the University,Iyya Shri. A. Srinivasan,  laid the foundation at DSU, Trichy, DS Medical College and Hospital, Siruvachur and additional campus, DSU, Perambalur.Smt. Ananthalakshmi Kathiravan, Hon'ble Pro-Chancellor, Mr.Neelaraj , Secretary of DS Group, Ms. Neevanee Kathiravan, Managing Director of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Medical College & Hospital, Siruvachur,  Mr.Nirmal Kathiravan, FC of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Mr.Raja Boopathi, Trust Member, Perambalur, Dr. C.K. Ranjan, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Deans and Associate Deans of various Schools, Faculty, Staff and Students were present.

This grand event, with a staggering project value of 500 crores, has become the talk of the town. Spanning over an impressive 20 lakh square feet, this new project consists of seven blocks, towering with an astounding 84 floors. With a total capacity of accommodating 10,000 students, the atmosphere is bound to be electric. The organizers have left no stone unturned in ensuring that this celebration becomes truly unforgettable. Prioritizing the comfort and well-being of the students, the DSU offers a range of amenities. From in-house medical facilities to sports centers, every need has been meticulously taken care of.
