The CME on the eve of "World deafness Week - 2023" which has been commemorated on the last week of September every year was organized by the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital, Samayapuram.
The program started with Physician Prayer followed by a guest lecture by Prof. Dr. Palaniappan, Retd HOD, KAPV, Trichy on the topic MANAGEMENT OF HEARING IMPAIRED CHILD.
Followed by another topic, Hearing Loss by Dr. Neelima Vijayan, Associate Professor and the topic Audiological evaluation by Dr. Vijay Pradap, Assistant Professor. The program was concluded by Vote of thanks. The program was attended by 55 delegates from various disciplines and also 150 - 1st year MBBS students.
The session was very interactive with question and answer session after each topic which was utilized by both delegates as well as the students.
