INTRAMURAL KHO-KHO TOURNAMENT - 25th - 26th JULY 2023
The department of Physical Education had organized intramural Kho-Kho tournament on 25th and 26th July 2023, involving students of all the schools under Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University.
The tournament began with a welcome address by Dr.K.Tharmar, Director of Physical Education, and tournament was inaugurated by Dr. M. Ravichandran, Registrar, DSU. The registrar gave an inspiring and motivational speech to the players.
Dr. A.Thulasi, Dean, Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital, Dr. M.Ravichandran, Dean, School of Agricultural Sciences, Dr. A. Pechiammal, Dean, School of Nursing, Dr. Sanjay Singh, Dean, School of Engineering and Technology, Dr. V. Raju, Associate Dean, School of Engineering and Technology were present during the inauguration.
17 teams (Men-10 & women-7 teams) participated in the tournament. In men section School of Engineering and Technology Team-A topped the tournament followed by School of Engineering and Technology Team - B. In the women section School of Engineering and Technology topped the tournament followed by School of Nursing.
The finals of the tournament was presided by Dr. C. K. Ranjan, Vice Chancellor, DSU. The Vice Chancellor also gave a speech to the students encouraging participation in future. Dr.Thulasi, Dean, Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital, Dr. A. Pechiammal, Dean, School of Nursing, were present during the finals. Ms.Puja, proposed the vote of thanks.
