NSS Unit of School of Engineering and Technology has organized a campus cleaning activity on 06th July 2023 from 3.15pm to 5.00 pm in our University premises. The program was felicitated by Dr. Sanjay Singh, Dean, School of Engineering and Technology and he instructed the students to take part in the NSS activities which is the learning from outside environment. Further, he added that meaning of education is to give it back to the society and it can be done by the way of accompanying NSS activities fruitfully. All the first year B. Tech. students of D, E, and F section were involved in the field work of cleaning the campus of DSU along with student Volunteers from second year B. Tech. students. Dr. P Rajiniganth, ASP/Maths, Dr T Aparna, AP/ Maths, Dr M Narmadha AP/Eng were involved in the field work along with the students. During the activity, students actively participated in cleaning the campus by removing dry wastes like plastic wrappers, cups, water bottles and other disposables wastes in our DSU campus. All the wastages were collected in the garbage bag and handed over to maintenance in charge of DSU for safe disposal. The program ended with a vote of thanks by NSS Coordinator of SET, Dr R Meganathan ASP/ Maths.
