Republic Day Celebration - 26th January 2023
Samayapuram, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University celebrated 74th Republic Day on 26th January 2023 to mark the adoption of the Indian constitution. The Pro Chancellor of the university Smt. Ananthalakshmi Kathiravan was the chief guest of the parade. She unfurled the flag and delivered the Republic day speech. She said that Republic day honours the spirit of independence. She stated that the day honours the rights of our citizens to elect a democratically run government. She also stressed that this day celebrates our country’s rich cultural heritage and the spirit of unity in diversity. The students of the constituent schools of the university enthusiastically participated in the cultural programme signifying the spirit of peace and harmony in the country. The Pro chancellor also distributed the prizes for the winners of various competitions held as part of the Republic day celebration. The Vice Chancellor of the university Dr. C. K. Ranjan, Registrar Dr. M. Ravichandran, Deans of various schools, Associate Deans, faculty, staff and students were present.
