The Human Resource Development Centre of the institution organized an inspiring event titled “HR Conclave 2025” on 23rd August 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Lecture Hall 4, VI Floor, Academic Block. The conclave aimed to bridge the gap between academia and industry by providing students with valuable insights into the evolving landscape of human resources and corporate culture.
The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of D. Pharm (2025–2026 batch) students, along with final-year B.Tech, MCA, and MBA students, who gained first-hand exposure to current trends, challenges, and opportunities in the HR domain.
The session was graced by a distinguished panel of industry experts, including Mr. Kishore Poonamalle, CEO, eSales Technologies, New York, USA; Mr. Rathinavel Rajan S, Regional HR Head, Ball Corporation, Chennai; Mr. R. Sathiasehar, Senior Manager – Corporate Affairs/CSR, Pfizer Healthcare India Pvt. Ltd., Chennai; and Mr. J. X. Dominic Saavio, HR and Labour Law Counsel and seasoned HR professional. Each of the guests shared valuable perspectives from their professional experience.
Mr. Kishore Poonamalle emphasized the importance of adaptability and digital competence in the modern workforce, highlighting global HR practices and leadership development.
Mr. Rathinavel Rajan S spoke on the significance of emotional intelligence, talent management, and workplace culture in fostering long-term employee engagement.
Mr. R. Sathiasehar addressed the role of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and ethical leadership in shaping sustainable organizations.
Mr. J. X. Dominic Saavio discussed the legal and compliance aspects of HR, underlining the importance of labour laws and employee welfare measures.
The conclave served as an interactive platform, where students actively participated in discussions and Q&A sessions, gaining clarity on career planning, HR expectations, and employability skills. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, appreciating the valuable contributions of all speakers and participants.
Overall, HR Conclave 2025 proved to be an enriching experience, equipping students with knowledge, confidence, and inspiration to excel in their professional journeys.
