Mother Terasa College of Pharmacy, Illupur, Pudukottai, in collaboration with The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, organized a One-Day National Level Seminar on "Unlocking the Potential of AI and Machine Learning in Pharmaceutical Health Care Innovations" on 8th February 2025 (Credit Points: 10). A total of 11 students from I B.Pharm, 5 students from II D.Pharm, and 4 faculty members from the School of Pharmacy participated in the conference. Three students presented their research papers, with R.Paramesh from II D.Pharm secured First Prize and S. Renganathan from I B.Pharm securing 2nd place in the Oral Presentation. The event saw 400 students from 10 pharmacy colleges in attendance, with 40 students presenting their research and review papers.
Additionally, our faculty members were honored as evaluators for the scientific session. Students gained valuable insights from guest lectures on the role of Artificial Intelligence in drug discovery, clinical trials, and the pharmaceutical industry. This knowledge will greatly benefit their future research in AI.
