Shri Indra Ganesan Institute of Medical Science College of Pharmacy, Trichy, in
association with The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, organized a One- Day National Conference on AI Pharma 2025: The Future of Pharmacy – Integrating AI for Enhanced Pharmaceutical Practices on 24th January 2025 (Credit Points: 5). A total of 21 students from I B.Pharm, 2 students from II B.Pharm, and 2 faculty members from the School of Pharmacy attended the conference. Three students presented their research papers, among whom S. Renganathan from I B.Pharm secured 2nd place in the Oral Presentation. The event witnessed the participation of 400 students, with 40 students presenting their research. Students gained valuable insights from the guest lectures on the application of Artificial Intelligence in drug discovery, clinical trials, and the pharmaceutical industry. This knowledge will be beneficial for their future research in AI.
