PLEASURE TRIP -BANGALORE - 30 th NOVEMBER AND 01 st DECEMBER 2024 .
As part of an ongoing initiative to offer hands-on learning experiences, the School of Architecture at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University organized an educational visit to Bangalore for its architecture students. This visit focused on a diverse range of architectural landmarks and commercial spaces that showcase both historical and contemporary design trends. The itinerary included visits to the Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, Lulu Mall, and Commercial Street, providing students with a well-rounded exposure to architectural innovation, retail space design, and urban commercial development. The primary objectives of the Bangalore visit were to:
- Expose students to various architectural typologies, including museums, commercial spaces,and urban streetscapes.
- Provide real-world examples of design principles, sustainable architecture, and urban planning in rapidly developing cities.
- Encourage critical thinking and observational skills by studying how architecture adapts to the functional needs of different spaces, from educational institutions to commercial areas.
