Pharma Awareness Rally - 25th September 2024
On the occasion of World Pharmacist Day - 2024
On September 25th, 2024, the School of Pharmacy at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Trichy, organized an impactful Pharma Awareness Rally under the theme “Pharmacist: Meeting Global Health Needs”. This event aimed to raise public awareness about the vital role pharmacists play in addressing global health challenges.
The rally was inaugurated by Mr. V. Dinesh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, along with the esteemed Deans from various schools within the university, who flagged off the event at Samayapuram. The participation of the local community and students demonstrated a collective commitment to promoting health awareness.
The event was spearheaded by Dr. R. Sabitha, Senior Assistant Professor, and Ms. N. Pavithra, Junior Assistant Professor, who worked tirelessly to ensure its success.
This rally not only highlighted the contributions of pharmacists in healthcare but also encouraged students and the public to recognize the importance of pharmacists in global health systems.
