IoT Fusion: Exploring Mobile Sensors, Big Data Analytics & Cloud Connectivity - 27th June 2024
Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized an One Day Workshop on "IoT Fusion: Exploring Mobile Sensors, Big Data Analytics and Cloud Connectivity" on 27th June, 2024 during two sessions (session I - 10:00 am to 12:30 pm & session II - 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm). The Resource persons were Dr.V.A.Jane Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, St.Joseph’s College, Trichy and Dr.S.Sathyapriya , Department of Computer Science, St.Joseph’s College, Trichy.
Session - I was handled by Dr. V.A.Jane Session – II was handled by Dr.S.Sathyapriya During the event, In Chief Guest Address he discussed around the new technologies revolving in the IT industry. The discussion was followed by a listing some of new technological inventions and usage with the importance of learning those technologies such as IoT, artificial intelligence and virtual reality. A group of students involved on those topics. A device become a smart device is called IOT. Now a days there are many android and server based application. In this system, value of sensor (e.g. temperature sensor, motion sensor, accelerometer sensor etc.) will be shown on GUI or web server or android application through wireless communication and device will be controlled automatically. Device will be operated on Wi-Fi / GPRS. The One Day Workshop on IoT Fusion: Exploring Mobile Sensors, Big Data Analytics and Cloud Connectivity was organized by Mrs.R.Manoranjani Assistant Professor / CSE and Mrs. D. Kalyani, Assistant Professor / CSE. The Chief Guest introduction was given by Ms.S.Rosinii, II-year BME. Dr. Sanjay Singh, Dean, School of Engineering and Technology delivered the felicitation address. Dr. N. Shanmugapriya HOD / AIDS, graced the occasion with her presence. Finally, the vote of thanks was given by Ms. Abouna, II-year B.Tech. (CSE). A Total of around 150 students, including students of third year AIDS, CSE, and Cyber Security participated in the workshop.
