NSS - Campus Cleaning Activity II - 11th June 2024
NSS Unit of School of Engineering and Technology has organized a campus cleaning activity on 11th June 2024 from 3.30 pm to 5.00 pm in our University premises. Dr G Sasikumar, Associate Dean/CSE-SET, gave the inaugural address and share the importance of NSS and its activities. Later, Dr P Prabhu, Associate Dean/ First Year-SET, felicitate the gathering by adding essentials of the learning from outside the classroom environment. All the Students of First year A1, A2 and A3 sections and third year NSS student volunteers were involved in the campus cleaning activities. During the activity, students actively participated in cleaning the campus by removing dry wastes like plastic wrappers, cups, water bottles and other disposables wastes in our DSU campus. All the wastage was collected in the garbage bag and handed over to maintenance in charge of DSU for safe disposal. Dr Shard Porwal ASP/Che and Mr D Shyam Ganesh AP/Eng were also accompanying the students during the activity. The program was ended with a vote of thanks by Dr R Meganathan, NSS Coordinator - SET, Prof/ Mathematics.
