Medical Devices Club - 6th June 2024
The Inauguration of "Medical Devices Club" & Guest Lecture entitled "Future of Artificial Intelligence in Health Care System" Programme was organized by School of Allied Health Sciences, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Samayapuram, Trichy, on the 06th June 2024 in the Lecture hall III 3rd Floor.
Ms. Umaira Fathima, Tutor, Department of Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology along with her team Ms. Rupasri and Ms. Jeevitha were the master of ceremonies.
The programme started with the “Tamil Thai Vazhthu”, followed by Lighting of Lamp by the dignitaries and chief guest.
The Program was take up with the presence of esteemed dignitaries of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University. Dr.K.Rekha., MBBS.,MD., Associate Dean, School of Allied Health Sciences delivered the welcome address by addressing all the delegates.
Dr. K.Rekha, Associate Dean, School of Allied Health Sciences, Dr. Akilandeswari, Dean, School of Pharmacy and Mrs. Pechiammal, Dean School of Nursing felicitate the chief guest Dr. Mukesh Mohan by presenting memento and shawl.
Dr. Mukesh Mohan, the chief guest along with all other dignitaries inaugurated “Medical Devices Club”
The students of Dialysis Technology (DT), Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology (OTAT), Critical Care Technology (CCT), Cardiac technology and Cardiovascular Technology(CVT), Physician Assistant (PA), Optometry, Radiography and Imaging Technology (RIT) has presented a video explaining “Current scenario of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Medicine”. It was an excellent depiction of recent advancements of medical devices integrated with AI.
Ms. Umaira Fathima, Tutor, Department OTAT, introduced the chief guest by speaking about his achievements.
Dr. Mukesh Mohan presented an inspiring lecture in the topic of future of Artificial Intelligence in health care system. Our students from various allied science program gained so much knowledge in the topic of robotic joint replacement surgery and Spinal surgery and the applications of robotics in medicine.
Finally, Dr. M. Sathya Mohan, Associate Professor, School of Allied Sciences delivered the vote of thanks, followed by National Anthem.
