Process of Innovation Development / Technology Readiness Level - 22nd December 2023

Innovation Program Organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering under IIC about "Process of Innovation Development / Technology Readiness Level" for all the faculties of School of Engineering & Technology and students of third year on 22, December 2023 from 2.00 to 4.30 PM. This programme was led by Dr. G. Mahesh, Associate Professor / Member, R&D Team, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Saranathan College of Engineering, Trichy. The resource person indicated the students with the simple innovation ideas for their project and patent registration. Also he explained the expectation of the industry and briefs the earnings from the innovation ideas.  He shared the importance of patent by getting the job in core industries and usage of various forms for patent registration. This seminar session aimed to provide awareness to the students and faculties about the need of innovation ideas and mindset for the current scenario and challenges. Around 200 students of third year of all branches and one section from first year of Engineering and Technology (A7 Batch) and 10 faculties were actively participated in this programme. Dr. Sanjay Singh, Dean, School of Engineering and Technology, Dr. V. Raju, Associate Dean, School of Engineering and Technology, Dr. K. Ramkumar, HoD of Mechanical and Dr. G. M. Balamurugan, Professor of Mechanical was present.
