School of Engineering and Technology under Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University in association with L & T EduTech Pvt Ltd, Chennai successfully concluded two-day boot camp Prompt Engineering with ChatGPT and. The boot camp held on June 27 and June 28, 2023 commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Sanjay Singh Dean/SET, who expressed his gratitude to the participants for their enthusiastic response followed by Dr. V Raju Associate Dean who emphasized the importance of staying abreast of the latest advancements in the field of artificial intelligence.
L & T EduTech is a reputed education and training company based at Chennai dedicated to empowering individuals and institutions with the latest knowledge and skills in emerging technologies to meet the gap between industry and institute for better placement.
Mr. D.Stalin Alex a distinguished guest speaker, Subject matter Expert at L& T Edu Tech , delivered an insightful session during the workshop. Mr. Abhishek / Asst Manager and Mrs Asmita Chaaudhuri/Corporate Communication Specialist Industry experience and deep understanding of the subject matter enriched the learning experience for all participants. The boot camp catered the need of students from the 4th semesters of the CSE, AIDS, IT, Cyber Security, ECE and Agriculture Engineering.
One of the highlights of the workshop was the hands-on experience provided to the participants. They were given the opportunity to engage directly with ChatGPT, gaining practical exposure to its functionalities and applications. On the second day, a small project demonstrating the implementation of ChatGPT was showcased, enabling participants to witness its potential in real-world scenario.
Dr. Sanjay Singh Dean/SET concluded the workshop with a vote of thanks, expressing his gratitude to all the participants, guest speaker, and organizing committee. He extended his appreciation to Mr. Vinod Srinivasan Regional Manager - Institution Connect, of L& T EDU Tech Pvt Ltd, for their valuable collaboration and support in organizing the event.
Dr Kalidoss Ap/Mech and Mr. Sadeesh S Ap/Cse Shared his final words and insights, underscoring the importance of such initiatives in shaping the future of technology education.
The successful conduct of the online workshop would not have been possible without the diligent efforts of the College Management, organizing committee, faculty members, technical support staff, and volunteers. Their commitment and dedication ensured a seamless and enriching learning experience for all participants.
