The National Technology Day (NTD) - 2k23 celebration was organized by School of Engineering and Technology, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Samayapuram, Trichy – 621 112 in association with Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) on 11.05.23 (Thursday). The participants were from Second year and First year of School of Engineering and Technology. This NTD - 2k23 celebration started up with THAMIZH THAI VAZHTHU, followed by Dr. Sanjay Singh, Dean, School of Engineering and Technology has delivered his welcome Address.
Our Chief Guest of the day Dr. Jaganathan VM, Assistant Professor, Department of Energy and Environment, National Institute of Technology, Trichy has showcased the Renewable Energy Technology - Current Scenario in India. This day was celebrated to honour India’s successful nuclear test at Pokhran, Rajasthan, on 11th May 1998. National Technology Day recognize and tribute the remarkable accomplishments and contributions of scientists, engineers, and technologists in the development of the country.
Finally, the Vote of Thanks was given by the organizing secretary Dr. M. Lakshmi, Associate Professor, EEE, School of Engineering and Technology. The Celebration was ended up with NATIONAL ANTHEM.
