SPECIAL LECTURE TALK ON APPLICATIONS OF MATHEMATICS IN ENGINEERING FIELD - 2023
An special lecture talk on “APPLICATIONS OF MATHEMATICS IN ENGINEERING FIELD” was organized by the School Of Engineering and Technology , Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Samayapuram , Trichy-621112 on 24th April 2023(Monday) as a part of our curriculum with Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) for 1st and 2nd year engineering students.
Dr. Sanjay Singh , Dean, School Of Engineering and Technology delivered the Welcome Address and felicitated the gathering by sharing his time life experience how he worked to learn maths. Dr.T.Aparna , Asst. Professor, Dept of Mathematics, delivered the chief guest key note address. The chief guest of the program is Dr.M.Premkumar, Asst. Professor, Dept of Mathematics, Satyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai.
After the introduction, Dr.Premkumar gave us a detailed presentation of magic square matrix and its connection with programming languages like Java Script,etc . He gave the students knowledge on encryption and decryption of coded messages. He taught about ‘Cabtaxi’ numbers and its purpose. At last the vote of thanks was given by Dr.R.Sathiyapriya, HOD, Dept of Mathematics, School of Engineering and Technology. A feedback survey was taken; positive responses were received from students.
