Helpline : +91 63841 76766 | 63841 76769Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, School of Engineering and Technology organized the one-day workshop on “Fundamentals of Automation System using Embedded System” on 26th April 2023 in 3rd Floor CSE Lab, DSU. The welcome address by Dr. Sanjay Singh, Dean School of Engineering and Technology. The dignitaries on the dais is Dr. S.Ramalingam & Mr.B.Sakthi Kumar, Embedded and IoT Trainer, LABGENICX, Erode.
This workshop provided the training based on fundamental of automation system using embedded system and IoT. From this workshop, the students learned fundamental of automation using embedded system. The students learned basics of embedded system and IoT hardware development. The goal of automated systems is to increase the speed of manufacturing and other operations while reducing the risk of human error and increasing operator safety. Automation applications rely on embedded flash memory to execute processes. An embedded system is a combination of computer hardware and software designed for a specific function. Embedded systems may also function within a larger system. The systems can be programmable or have a fixed functionality.
In this system also, every device which is to be controlled by the Internet of Things is connected together through the same network. The network can be Local Area Network or any local Wi-Fi as well. A Wi-Fi module can also be used with this system to control and monitor all the street lights wirelessly. IoT stands for internet of things. Most simply, it refers to physical objects linked through wired and wireless networks. The IoT based home automation consists of several smart devices for different applications of lighting, security, home entertainment etc. A domestic automation system can monitor and/or manage home attributes adore lighting, climate, enjoyment systems, and appliances.
Also, this workshop provided the training based on IoT based automation system using Blynk IoT platform. The students learned the IoT cloud platform and Mobile app development for real time application using BLYNK cloud IoT platform. This workshop provided the hands-on training based on LED interfacing, analog and digital sensor interfacing concept using embedded system and IoT.
