Helpline : +91 63841 76766 | 63841 76769One day National seminar on “CONSTITUTIONAL IDENTITY : CONTEMPORARY TRENDS OF INDIAN CONSTITUTION” was organized by School of Law, in Lecture Hall II , Academic Block, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Tiruchirappalli -112 on 10 th March , 2023 from 11.30 am to 4.30 pm. The Seminar was started with Tamil Thai valthu by the students. The Dignitaries lit the lamp and started this program. The session start with welcome address by Dr.E.Venugopal, Dean ,School of Law, welcomed all the dignitaries, presenters and all present in the programme with a brief introduction of the Constitution and about the keynote speaker Prof.(Dr).V.S.Elizabeth,Vice Chancellor,TNNLU,Trichy.The chief guests were felicitated by DR.M.Ravichandran,Registrar,DSU. He addressed the student about the importance of Constitution and should be followed by every country. Mrs.J.Janani, Assistant Professor, School of Law, introduced the Chief Guest.Prof(Dr.)V.S.Elizabeth,Vice Chancellor,TNNLU,Trichy delivered the keynote speech pointing out that our India is young crossed 75 years old .She stressed that few changes can be made in the Constitution and compare the past constitution and present constitution Article in our Indian country.She highlighted about PREAMBLE and said that the needs of the people change but the basic structure of Human Rights should not be changed. Finally she concluded speech that every citizen should be awareness about the Constitution.
In Technical sessions participants presented their paper chaired by Dr.E.Venugopal, Dean and Mr.P.Ragu Balan,School of Law ,School of Law. Papers were presented on topics in the area of Constitution by various college students. the questions raised by audience effectively. The valedictory session began with the welcome speech made by Dr.E.Venugopal, Dean ,School of Law and Dr.V.Sekar(P&D) Dean,DSU award a certificate for best paper presentation
