HUMAN RIGHTS DAY

In commemoration of Human Rights Day on 10th December, a programme on Human Rights was held on 12th December, 2022 from 10 am to 12.00 pm, by the Department of School of Law in Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Universtiy, Trichy campus. The Poster Presentation Competition was held on 8th Nov, 2022 for the students of School of law. On 12thDecember the programme started with Thamizh Thai Vazhthu. The welcome address was given by Mr. P. Ragu Balan, Assistant Professor of Law and the introduction of speakers by Mrs. J.JANANI, Assistant Professor of Law and Mrs. M. Suriya Priya, Assistant Professor of Law. Our Honorable Vice Chancellor honored the guest and Dean of Planning and Development felicitated the gathering The first guest speaker Mrs. N. Uma Maheshwari, District Judge (Retd.), Karur has enlightened our students with "Over view of Human Rights". After the tea break, the next session with second guest speaker Mrs. G. Santha Sheela, Assistant Professor of Law, Government Law College, Trichy delivered a speech on the topic "Importance of Universal Declaration of Human Rights". Prizes were distributed by the Guests. Vote of thanks was given by Mrs. M. Abinaya, Assistant Professor of law, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University. The programme was successfully ended with National Anthem.
